• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

This is just a little reminder that SOH could always use a little gift giving too in the way of donations. We now have over twenty thousand members and if you can only send a few bucks, well, that's a few bucks more towards the bandwidth cost and upkeep of the site. Plus, it will show Ickie just how much you love sim outhouse.......mid

I try to donate a sawbuck a month to help out my favorite home on the internet. Ickie is aware.
 
now that i have my own site and foot the cost of running it i will no longer be able to donate here as i have in the past.

its not mandantory
it takes a lot to run a site but contributions are always welcome
and members who contribute with knowledge and help
are also a big contributor

PD, you've done a lot but there are many, many more who reap the benefits of this great site and even if they could send in five or ten bucks it would help. If half of the twenty-thousand members sent in even two bucks it would be fantastic.
 
I have been contributing in February/March timeframe, like to keep that schedule, Christmas is paid for around that time and hopefully my 101(k)s are then back to being 401(k)s again.:wavey:
 
i feel bad because im in a position that i cant help even with 2 bucks.Circumstances have made it to where i cant even get my kids anything this year for christmas and that makes it even harder on me.I almost broke down today because one of my boys told me not to worry that it didnt matter and not to feel sad because its the thought that counts but still....this time of year has been rough on me for other reasons and this year just made it more depressing but i do wish all of u a very merry christmas and happy new year and hopefully the new year can be rewarding for all of us
