• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Over the last few days I have been busy re-installing aircraft into P3D V2 after computer reformat. So far I have installed mostly my payware aircraft. Last night I came to the Lionheart folder and discovered it was almost empty.

I was of the opinion that Bill had produced the Piper Pacer/Tri-Pacer but cannot find it anywhere. Normally when I purchase/download an aircraft or repaint I usually move it to the appropriate folder. Occasionally in my old age I sometimes forget to do this until a few days later. Now I am going to have to look through my Downloads folders to see if I still have it on my computer. The main problem is I am not even sure if I ordered directly from LHC or Flight1.

As a radio shock jock in Australia used to say "That's life"

I try to keep my payware archives into a specific folder just like you.
But I'm afraid to loose all in a HD crash, so I also keep all of my emails related to payware (order confirmation, billing info etc...) into a specific folder on the mail server. In this way, even if my computer burns in flames, my emails are still safe and I can remember where I purchased what.

Backup, backup backup. Have all my payware downloads and CD updates on a backup drive in an FSX pay ware or freeware folder. all my downloads have a txt file with all the needed info in case i have to reinstall. All that is backed up on a portable drive. i will loose something but most of it is there. il do teh same for P3d when i get there.

All is good now. Found a LHC folder that for some reason had found it into another developer's folder. Now have the full compliment of LHC aircraft.

I have all my aircraft (pay and freeware) on an external Drive. Hopefully moving house soon so at the moment I am busy clearing out the house and once settled in to the new place I will be burning everything on to DVDs.
