Hey guys,

I'm taking a few days off from the 20th Fighter Group to try and spur on some other potential mission builders.

To this end, I am updating my airfield layout packages and adding one for the Mediterranean.

So far, I updated my fourth package, and almost doubled its contents.

If you want it, it is here: http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/local_links.php?action=jump&catid=49&id=2611

"This package has been modified on 01/05/2014 to reflect the following changes listed below...the addition of several new layouts.

It contains ready-made layouts for your missions that allow you to place targets and infrastructure. These include three factory complexes, a ball bearing plant, a massive Focke-Wulf assembly plant, a Messerschmitt assembly plant, a large oil refinery, a French V1 Rocket site, a small oil refinery near Hawkinge, a large rail yard, four different layouts for British fighter factories, a Norwegian command post, an American vehicle depot, the Amiens prison complex, a small munitions factory, a small oil refinery, a wooded radio station, a wooded rail line, a train station, and a wooded Radar station.

Also included is a Hawker aircraft plant in southeast England. This is a GSL scenery item that has its own airfield entry for you to utilize."

I will keep you posted on further updates...one of these will include layouts for my GSL harbors, which will include guns, vehicles, and ships.

Good evening,

I should be able to upload an MTO scenery support package tomorrow or Tuesday. I took an opportunity tonight to update several MTO scenery packages with valid, working links, as well as those for Achim's base packages.

MTO Mission Builder support package.zip

A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category CFS 2 Utilities Add-ons

Description: This package will assist Mission Builders for Mediterranean-based missions and campaigns by providing the user with ready-made layouts for airbases and GSL harbors that I have created for my campaigns and missions, thus eliminating the need for countless hours of placing objects yourself. These layouts can easily be modified to suit any taste by the user.

There are approximately sixty layouts each for Axis-held bases and Allied-held bases, and additional layouts for my GSL harbors. I have divided the readme into three separate sections to provide distinction, and each section has hyperlinks to allow you to grab the files that you will need.

For the layouts in this package, the layouts have been individually configured to fit the airfield bitmap or GSL harbor layout. To this end, I would highly recommend that you check the “place in original location” box when using these layouts.

For using these layouts, please examine the relevant pages of Cody Coyote’s MB tutorial, specifically pages 112-114. You may find his handbook by clicking on the link below.

Location: http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforum...tid=49&id=3972

Please note that I have not used all of the bases; this only covers bases that I have used. The time period which these layouts cover is from 1940 until 1944, and includes North Africa, Italy, and the Balkans.

Description: This package will assist Mission Builders for both early and late European-based missions and campaigns by providing the user with ready-made layouts for airbases and GSL harbors that I have created for my campaigns and missions, thus eliminating the need for countless hours of placing objects yourself. These layouts can easily be modified to suit any taste by the user.

There are approximately seventy-five layouts for Axis-held bases and over sixty early and late layouts each for Allied-held bases, and additional layouts for my GSL harbors and other scenery which is used in my missions and campaigns. I have divided the readme into four separate sections to provide distinction, & each section has hyperlinks to allow you to grab the files that you will need.

Please note that I have not used all of the bases; this only covers bases that I have used. The time period which these layouts cover is from 1939 until 1945, with the distinction between "Early" and "late" being the end of 1942. The layouts include bases in England, Scotland, Iceland, Wales, North Africa, Romania, Norway, Russia, Poland, Germany, Austria, Holland, Belgium, and France.

Good afternoon,

In addition to uploading the ETO support package, I also made a small update to the readme of the MTO package, and added several layouts to the MB layout support package.

These replace the older layout packages, I deleted all of them.

I have a couple of more "cleanup" packages to do before going back into the missions, but these should not take very long.

Captain Kurt,

Thanks. I did that for a few reasons, but mostly to help other would-be mission builders get a head start. A good friend might be getting into the mission builder pool before too long.

That's good news Andrew, we can always use new campaign builders - it usually brings a fresh approach to building too.
