Horrible is about the only way I can describe this. I cannot imagine the makeup of people who would actually send such a letter to parents. I hope when it is found out who wrote it and sent it that at least it's a case of a cruel and immature teenager. If it turns out to be adults, even worse adults with their own children, well, words would simply escape me!

Even though I am a retired physician... I volunteer to euthanize...THE WRITER OF THE LETTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!:isadizzy::isadizzy::isadizzy:
People like that... when they are cursed with some dreaded disease... the first thing they ask is: "Why me"...
betraying their attitudinal perception that s...t should only happen to other people.... NOT THEM.....
I wonder how they'd feel if one of their family had the misfortune of having some dreadfully malformed kid... or a Down's Syndrome kid...
I bet they would not to have him or her euthanized...
I am utterly disgusted with such people.... though I should probably forgive them because they know not what they do...

Good idea. Euthanize the boy because he makes noise when he's outside playing, because he doesn't fit the standard description of normal. By the way, are you bored? Got nothing to do? Why not drive down the road and murder a jogger "just for the fun of it"?
I feel like the decent people in our country are soon to be outnumbered by homicidal vermin and people with hate in their hearts.

As horrible as this is, it is at least some small comfort to realize that such septic tank crawlers are a distinct minority, and that most people, while they may not be Mother Theresa's, are nowhere near this form of inhumanity. These are the ones we hear about, and not the millions of us who can't even conceive the mental state of the letter writer.

At least I hope I'm right that there are more good folks than bad.

I hope they find the bastard, and bring back the pillory for openers.

It shows the letter writer's cowardice by slipping the letter under the door. Air breathers like that are no better then the drivel that they compose, and the troubling fact is... more of them are emerging from the slimy rocks they live under, and permeating society at an alarming rate.

Hate to say it, but from the wording in the letter the vermin who wrote it sounds like a woman!

Because of the instant news today,we get shocked by incidents we never knew about..Now in our living rooms we are exposed to any and all incidents of terror ,Horror,Child Abuse,Spouse Abuse,Male practice,and Madness....There is Of Course a dark,Underground ,world of Cruelty,Horror,and madness...In the animal as well as the human world.....Mans inhumanity to man.Its Right beneath our feet..We do not See it with open eyes...Time to get involved?,...Or stay politically correct.......The other day,on a check out line,the lil boy took a candy bar placed at his nose level..just held it a sec.with his mom..the women,a former Auschwitz Prison guard Type Beat that Lil Boy severely..and no one cared ..I felt guilty I did not Punch her in the mouth..Then That adage came upon me..Am I My brothers Keeper?..a Question we may all have to answer......Thats why flying Is So great..all things are Smaller,simpler, and Clearer from above!

These days, it's as much "Am I my Brother's Keeper" as it is "Is it Worth the Potential Repercussions?"

People are in such a litigation 'mode', that any attempt to interfere in a situation such as you outlined would probably result in you getting into some sort of trouble, either criminal or civil.

It's like, "It's none of your business what I do, you restrained me... so I'm suing you for assault!"

It's a sad state of affairs, when the threat of civil or criminal action trumps morals and the concept of 'doing the right thing'.

now you wait just a minute there buckaroo....as an ex plumber...ive not only HAND dug holes for septic tanks ( it wasnt even my job,but money is money)and ive had to go INTO empty septic tanks and wash them out when rebuilding septic systems...so I sir..am a septic crawler..i prefer dweller ...and im a much much better person than the person that wrote that letter....

Now, once identified - the writer(s) may have a hard time coexisting with neighbors anywhere on this planet !

There are numerous offences I can think of. Not least sending threatening/abusive/insulting material through the mail. We have strong 'hate' laws up here, unfortunately when they get to the courts, they get watered down quite a lot by our liberal judiciary.

So, while it may appear that no obvious law has been broken, police will investigate if for no other reason than as a CYA effort in case it escalates after they have been alerted to a "potential wacko on the loose". On the other hand it may well serve the last part of your comment... "out" the author and let the community have their say - which currently is siding with the 'victim'.

Interesting you used the phrase "bored," because I think you are alluding to something that happened yesterday that I just heard about today. Three teens in Oklahoma said they were "merely bored" and decided for kicks they would grab some illegally acquired guns and murder someone! They gunned down an Australian young man who was attending a local college on a baseball scholarship! Just murdered him in broad daylight.

People such as myself have in the past been loudly shouted down for posting warnings about the dangers of the Hollywood movie, computer video gaming, and music industries actions that have torn down the moral boundaries of life, desensitizing the normal human mores against violence and destruction such that we have an epidemic of teens who have grown up without moral foundations. Certainly I add the role of extremely bad parents, but I note in this case that the mother of one of the three teens expressed her horror and agreed that her son deserved to be punished for his crime. I believe she is the mother of the teen charged as an adult for being an accessory to first degree murder because he drove the get away vehicle!

America is a nation in serious need of a renewed focus on moral teaching for our children. Whether in religious expressions or other outlets, I see serious and grave need for immediate focus on society at large teaching our children old fashioned moral values, and demanding that parents do the same. I think it has simply become "cool" to deny the need for moral principles education for our children, and as a nation I think we are reaping the whirlwind of what our combined negligence in this failure to teach morality has created. We have, in short, worked to create a generation of children too many in number who have been raised to become savages. Pure savages!

I am frankly ashamed!
