You've got it. Several years ago my wife had an operation and got staph from it. She ended up with a two week stay in an isolation room fighting it. We'll keep the door open for you.

Oh man...

Rest and heal..I agree with the decission to do that...take a laptop if you can..it will help pass the time.....

Best to you for a fast fix....

MRSA - damn, that's the same affliction Hey_Moe had to go through. Take care Dave, hope you recover quickly. :)

Best of luck to you Dave . As mentioned above , Hey_Moe went through a nasty bout with MRSA so he certainly would be a good source of information and inspiration .

Take care ,

Rich

Best wishes. And make sure they keep you moving to prevent bed sores and give them the evil eye if they don't take every chance to WASH HANDS!! Longer hospital stays=more infection opportunities, but yours sounds pretty short. I can't tell you how many people I've taken to the ER just because they went in for A, and because of poor care ended up with B and a little of C. Now to be sure, I only treat a fraction of all the folks being cared for but it's still far too many that shouldn't have had to go. The odds are still way in your favor but if you think things are not being done properly speak up to someone. Again best wishes.

prayers for ya Dave! Hang tough Amigo

Feel for you D...my wife spent 6 weeks in the hospital. Hope the food is OK...sometimes what they give the patients isn't exactly edible, although the dietary people will tell you that it's nutritious. Stay in touch (if possible) and best wishes for a speedy recovery.

oh man is right!!

good luck!! I hope everything works out. Keep on the sunny side of things, and it'll go by in no time. I spent a bit of time stuck in field hospitals in the middle east feeling sorry for myself for getting injured. I can also relate to how any self-respecting man would feel wierd not being productive. Take a laptop with you and please stay in contact.

I'm sure a guy like you won't have a problem keeping his attitude up.
