    Just when you think you have everything running some what better...

    You get a message from the Hosting company. Short story they need to move us to a new server. I have been working with them to plan a good date for all concerned. Here is what we have come up with as a schedule.

    1. November 4th 17:00 -5UTC shut off the forums and start backup proceedures. During this time there will be no access to the forums or the Resource Section.
    2. November 5th Continue with Backups and download same until complete.
    3. November 6th 7:00 turn over server to hosting company to move system to new server
    4. November 7th - 8th restore backups and upgrade forum software.

    If all goes well we should be back online on November 8th.

    To keep you updated we will post updates on AVSIM forums.

How big is yours ?

I use MSFS Addons Linker. So, my Community folder size varies. I have a few files that I run all the time. But, I turn off and on files depending on where I am flying. It is currently 4 mb. So, I guess that makes me a little short. ;)
 
491 GB, do I get a plaque or something? :biggrin-new:

My aviation interests are too varied to have a slimmer installation, I guess!
 
I also use a mod manager so not all installed at once but the total is 1,306 Gb.

My community folder is 365GB, main MSFS folder is 440GB.

Incidentally, the "compress contents to save disk space" option in Windows is super helpful, since it cuts those folder sizes on the disk down by about 40%, and doesn't seem to have any impacts on loading time or performance.
 
1.52Tb for my FS_Addons folder
167G for my OrbX folder

I use the Addons Manager, so I only have a subset installed depending on where I'm flying.

I'm picky too, but in any region where I fly, I have a ton of custom scenery. Addons presets to, say, install all the US West Coast states, or Western European countries with one click.

My actual Community folder has nothing but Addon Manager links.
 
I have about 300mb in my Community folder, but I also use Add-on Linker. I have separate M. 2 drives for countries, aircraft, libraries & utilities, Orbx, etc.. All total, it's around 5TB. NC
