How do you slow down the performance of the Iris F-16D?

Hi,

When kicking in the afterburner of the Iris F-16D the speed is very unrealistic (It's too fast). How do you make the performance more realistic? Do i edit the .air file and if so, which values?

For example when doing airshows, you see the burner on quite often but they are not milling about at 1000kts due to weight and turning yet with the Irish F-16D, as soon as you throttle up to afterburner its like having a rocket attached to the aircraft!

Any help appreciated

thanks

This seems to be the issue with pretty much every fighter in FS9/FSX. I'm not a .AIR guru, but try messing around in the .cfg's. Fiddle around with the engine thrust scalar and other lines in the config, as well as the drag settings.
