this morning i woke to the sound of what i believe was a merlin at good speed......rrrrrrrowrrrrrrrr.......brought me from a deep sleep....at first i thought i was dreaming until i looked at the cat and she was wide eyed and looking at the cieling...so i jumped up and turned on my faithfull scanner and heard two guys talking on .750 about being a flight of two as they go over the sierras, then someone said are we heading straight to reno or truckee..to which the answer was reno...how would you check flight awhare or other sites to see if a P51 landed at reno this morning...they were 40 minutes out of reno when i last heard the radio transmission...about an 20 ago from now..7:05.am

when they...it..came over it was flat moving by the sound...im going out on a limb and say it was a P51,just cause it sounded like a single engine...but dang was loud and fast....

Track a flight

Looking at Flight Aware I can only see a Cirrus SR-22 that has landed. To be able to track a flight they must file a flight plan with the FAA to be able to track it on the website.

If you know the code of the airport put it in airport tracker place on the left hand side down at the bottom. A good source to find out airport codes is at www.airnav.com, you can look them up by the states. Hope this helps.
