How Navy Pilots ACTUALLY Land on the Carrier

Note at the very end when the director signals stop, you see plane captains move a towbar into position - sometimes simply for the respot after the recovery is over, but often they will hook a tractor up and push the plane back with the main gear very near the deck edge combing.

- the flight deck crews do not get enough credit for their ability to orchestrate this stuff, especially at night!
