I didnt vote. As Mfitch says it needs to be fast enough to get where I want in the time available for simming. That said. I've been flying the old JustFlight Schweizer 300 recently in OrbX/OzX scenery and find that flying the S300 at 1200' over areas I regularly fly, I discover many, many new airfields I just never noticed before. Good stuff!

An Antonov An-2 is slow when it flies low and slow at 35 mph:wiggle:
See this great film shot in the Netherlands of the Aviodrome's An-2 Colt;

With enough wind, on some of the slower aircraft you can actually go backwards. Now that's slow.

I have this problem sometimes with A2A's Accu-sim Cub.. I wound up not even remotely trying to fly it with real weather when there are high winds in the area. :icon_lol: That was my first real lesson about TAS, and Ground Speed as I barely watched the scenery creep by even though the airspeed indicator said I was going about 75mph. That flight was sloooowwwwww. I do enjoy the scenery though. Just needs to be a good area like Aerosoft's US Cities X, or the Orbx sceneries (which I have been eyeing, but have yet to pick up).

I've managed to fly backwards in real world flight, not nearly as much fun in FSX (always in a hurry trying to find new oohs! in the Orbx sceneries).
