My RB3D buddy and I have often discussed how accurate the flight modeling of WWI flights sims are. Did the old birds really fly like the computerized versions do?

I just came across a video on Youtube of an airshow with seven DR1 replicas, a Camel, a Phalz, and others in flight. Might give a pretty good idea of what their characteristic performance was. Worth a look in any event.

Generally, comparing what I see in that videoclip to what I'm seeing in recent sims, I think you guys are getting it about right.
