    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

How to Activiate FSX disk version?

Hi all,

I don't know if anyone on here can help but I'm at my whits end and really don't want to switch to FSX: steam I've just tried installing FSX disk version on my laptop and can't seem to activate it I've tried to activate online and over the telephone over the automated system but it wont recognize my installation ID Have the servers been shut down (and my disks are now glorified coasters) or is there a fix for this?
It is a genuine copy which has been installed on my old Rig (RIP) so I know it did used to work. please can someone help.

fair comment Zippy, but It was entered over a phone keypad so there is no real way of that kind of error occurring but i ran it twice and double checked figure by figure and the entered code was correct. thanks for the quick reply
 
If you've had FSX-SE installed previously (even as a trial) the disc version is a PITA.
Other than that I have no idea.
