CFS3 Multiplayer Issues

There are a few things to consider :

Firstly, Microsoft no longer supports it's game server for CFS3;

All Multiplayer CFS3 sessions are now handled peer to peer (IPs are Posted in Forum Threads).

The Updates for CFS3 at the MS website are still used, so get those two downloaded and installed.

Also, there is some fiddling required for Windows 7 users. See Windows 7 install fix Stickey Thread.

That should get you in the door. We post "Stock 3.1a" games in the Stickey Thread provided by SOH.

And yes, we regularly have CFS3 furballs of 5-10 pilots daily, so we'd be happy to have you back.

Attention!!! Putting your computer in the DMZ creates a high security risk. Preferrable to do the port-forwarding as per Pascal, 2300 to 2300 and 28883 to 28886.
