How to really screw up a computer

i remember a teacher once telling me "it's a poor artist who blames his brush"

:costumes:

Yeah but when the brush is a POS, it aint the the artists fault. :amen:

McAfee and Norton both have let in viruses on my computer, and that was a PITA in it's self. The thing with both when I had them, neither let you know a virus had gotten in until you did a scan. At least AVG lets you know as soon as a virus gets in. And as soon as AVG lets you know, Webroot's Spy Sweeper know there's a problem too.

I've been using Trend Micro's suite of tools for the past few years on all my PC's.....no issues yet.

Have had Avast antivirus on my machine for two years and NEVER had a virus. Also have a hardwired router, which has built in firewalls--that helps also. Remember, most wireless routers ARE NOT secure. However, with AVAST I get virus warnings when I load certain payware aircraft. Found out it is anti piracy codes written into the software, and just click ignore when I find out what they are. The worst is Captain Sim...
