At one time I recall there was a way to download side two and run the game without having to use the side 2 cd. Anyone here know of how to do that? Thanks.

re cfs2 running game without cd
I have both side one and two. I just thought there was a way to save side 2 on the hard drive to preserve the cd. If damaged or if the cd rom drive did not work then one could still play the game.
I paid for the game. Just was asking. Did not know there was a legality issue.

Honestly I don't see a problem with this discussion anymore m$ hasn't made the disks in years. we have to start thinking about saving the disks we have, because someday there won't be any left to buy unles you want to get it from some collector that knows what they have and will not part with it except for a extremely inflated price.
I mean heck they use A copy of the David statue standing in the original location of David, in front of the Palazzo Vecchio in Florence to save the original, the whole purpose of the "No-CD hack" was to save your disks............
but then again I ain't a modd and i ain't got no say so in the matter on this board

Mmm... After all there are actually issues and exceptions on everything. For example, in Spain a public library can make a copy of copyrighted books for preservation purposes for those cases where the book can no longer be found for sale.
I agree that hacking has to be a banned issue BUT discuss how to ensure we are in position to play the game we lawfully purchased is a different thing and I understand it has to be allowed here.
