Yeah, that's what I want to know too.

It's one I am kinda working on. I flew there online a few weeks back with a buddy that helped with reference material for my FS9 Kandahar scenery and it made me want to do an FSX version, but for the longest time I couldn't find good sat imagery for the area.
Kandahar airport has decent resolution from altitude, but I am still debating taking it further since it's not the best at ground level. So far from all my searching, only Kandahar, Bagram and Mazar (where Camp Marmal is) have decent to good imagery for scenery, but the res for the areas around them works well so you don't have to fly over default textures as in the image I posted. The main problem with Bagram is it is really busy and if I add objects to the photoreal, it will need alot of objects, LOL. The other thing is it is surrounded by mountains and I would like to have those in photoreal also.

Just finished my first repaint - D-HBWP, operated by Agrarflug Helilift, Germany.

Great work Dirk :ernae:
Ive just started this one

Spot the difference - the 212 and the 412.

I personnally now prefer the 212 model but that is probably because 2 rotors just seem right - probably an age thing and what you are used to seeing flying over you.

I like the 212 Flight dynamics a bit more than the 412 but this could be subjective

find that it is easier to land and hover

Anyone want to tackle a US Navy SAR version? Not sure how to post pictures, but if you do a search for NAS Fallon SAR, there is a decent U-tube video and quite a few links to photo's The navy has been phasing them out of late and we just decommissioned our last one about a month ago, but they've done their share of High Sierra rescues around Nevada, and California. I used to be stationed with the Fallon SAR Team back in the late 80's The UH-1N was definably a work horse. Robin

Real nice gajit! But can you duplicate it with Navy on it instead of Marines! Robin:salute:
