• There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

Sorry to dredge this thread up from the dead but I really wish this was flyable! does anyone lnow of a flyable fsx native sea vixen in the works???

Ok thanks for that it looks fine to me, mind you, Canopy glass issues tend to only really be noticeable when flying through cloud or over autogen. Just one more question Is it Acceleration compatible from the outset or am I going to need to cut and paste Launch Assist Parameters from something else? Also (and more importantly) Where can I buy it from I can't seem to find it anywhere???

You have to add the acceleration [launch_assistance] section:

This is a blast to fly and trap on one of the Flying Stations carriers, e.g. Ark or Victorious. Great sounds. A macho machine.
 
Yes - have enjoyed this immensely in FSX. Pre DX10, that is ... :(

Ex (or others) - do you fly this in DX10?

I'm slowly rebuilding my FSX on my new pc - and I'm seeing virtually all of my favourite ports in that crazy angelic white. The Vixen was one of the first fs9 ports I installed - and it too is not useable. I've yet to install the Steve Fixer - that may fix it - but it would help to know this one is workable in DX10 ...

No DX10 here. Tried it once. Looked amazing. But too many issues and problems to make it worth an incremental eye candy increase.
