I know a VF-84 bird was done for the "E-J" hybrid version by Odourboy, however, it has come to my attention that due to unfortunate circumstances (his layered PSDs for this paint have been lost) it will not be updated for the new full version and a new one from Odourboy will not be forthcoming.

All this came to my attention from Matt Ivey who asked, after he learned that Odourboy was not able, that I consider painting one for the full version. Not a hard choice for me, with respect to Odourboy, to fill this gap absent a new paint from him.

Still lots to do but this is what I have so far.

Thanks very much, Gentlemen. I suspect the Jolly Rogers paint is a favorite of lots of USN F-4 PHANS...like me! :very_drunk:

This one is still several days away with lots of small things yet to do.

Many thanks DonJosh! I need to update the wings to remove the marks left by removing the slat hinge fairings, which I'm doing one paint at a time and only done one so far.....:banghead:

As I can get around to it I'll upgrade my other UK Phantoms (now I've found the major difference with the new paint kit:untroubled:!!). Now back to the F-8!

Well, seems I've gone and done it again! I forgot to flip the ship number on the right side fin cap. It has been corrected in the library but for those who've already downloaded (prior to 10:00 pm 12/19/15) here's a corrected copy. Just drop it in the VF-84 texture folder and allow to overwrite.

My Mom always says getting old ain't for sissies! She is certainly correct in my case! Sorry for the inconvenience.
