......I rather wait for the RAZBAM series.............:icon_lol:

Cheers,
Hank

Suit yourself, but wouldn't it make sense to wait and see what it looks like before making a decision on what to buy? Oh wait, Razbam painter, now I get it.

Yah!..hopefully an early A-4K will appear too but the A-4G would also be a starter

I would espeically dig that one, along with an L,M and N...really love what they did with her in the latter years. Truly a legend for it's time.

About FREAKING time!

That stick...wow, it looks just like the real thing.

If you've ever held an A-4 stick, you'll know how important it is to the cockpit.

You really wear the A-4, I've never felt more comfortable and at one with an aircraft.

Thank you!

WOW.........finally an A-4 that will look like an A-4!!!!! I'm sure the FPS will be awesome and it won't take a real fighter pilot won't have to start.

That's great news. My first duty station after joining the marines in july 1969 was marine corps air station yuma arizona.
First squadron was vmt-103. That squadron had a4c, a4e, a4f & ta4f.
A year or so later vmt-103 was disbanded and the squadron was absorbed into vmat-102 with a4f \ ta4f's \ ta4Js.
Later I transferred to el toro california to vma-214 "the blacksheep where they had a4 mikes.
A couple years later I transferred to a kc-130 outfit for flight engineer training.
I like the c-130, but there will always be a spot in my heart for the first one! The A4 Skyhawk.

No A-4E?

Somewhat strange.

VCN-1
At a minimum there will be an A-4F with no hump (Blue Angles) which will be a starting place for the repainters. Who knows, Virtavia added an F-111C and an F-111E in towards the end of that project. No telling what might be in this package.

A-4G is on the short list.

Agree, still waiting and understand they are down the list of projects, almost ported my 2 seater series over to FSX just to have them. Currently flying the older FratBros A-4Kahu.

HMMMM......why not add the aviaonics hump as an item you can turn on and off?

It's always been hit-or-miss with Virtavia/Alphasim when it comes to including external structures in the VC model. I really hope the decision maker will have TrackIR soon. Frank explained in the F-111 thread that the guy calling the shots on it uses his keypad and slew to look around.

Throw down the chains and Free Yourselves, People! Get TrackIR (hehe, sorry).

Wish I could afford it...for now...its my slew hat and keyboard.

Haven't seen the model yet other than renderings but one of my first feedback points will be that we definitely need to be able to see the wings on this one.

I know it may be hard to resist getting these wonderfull models that will be coming out, but one Track IR is worth giving up buying the the next 3 or 4 models. It will make all of your previous purchases brand new again. Key pads and slewing is akin to watching someone else fly the plane, and TrackIR is you in there doing it to the max, and then walking away screaming "JEEEEZUS!" when you're done.

disclaimer: just my little ole opinion.

A-4G is on the short list.

As the vast majority of Skyhawks were in USN squadrons, featuring most notably as a combat workhorse in Vietnam, hopefully these will be represented as well as the more special interest variants mentioned.

(A-4F's aboard the USS Hancock, Vietnam, 1972).
