HU: Scooter

As the vast majority of Skyhawks were in USN squadrons, featuring most notably as a combat workhorse in Vietnam, hopefully these will be represented as well as the more special interest variants mentioned.

(A-4F's aboard the USS Hancock, Vietnam, 1972).
I swear I posted here yesterday that I was was pleading the case for the A-4E to the powers that be.

Anyway, with both myself and Mal998 making a case for it the latest word today is that the A-4E is a "go".

Any B's and C's? Would be nice to have the Argentine Skyhawks represented coming up on the 30th anniversary of the Falkland/Malvinas War.:kilroy: :)

The more I see from it, the more I like it. Almost didn't notice this update with all the attention the Milviz Sabre is getting. Good times for those of us who are into classic steam gauge jets :jump:

Great looking model. Just one question, thought the M was the initial scooter with the avionics hump? (Disregard my ignorance of the variants, wikipedia cures all...) Looking forward to this as well.

late E models got the hump first...then they even retrofited some C variants and redesignated them L variants.

Thanks Skyhawk and TARPS. It's a great looking bird and knowing how many SME's we have on board, I feel confident Virtavia will do her complete justice before releasing or face the wrath of those in the know.

To date my Virtavia purchases have been the earlier AlphaSim aircraft in both FSX and FS9, but I've never had too much to complain about as far as the accuracy of the planes' physical details or the paint jobs. From the WIP screenshots at the Virtavia website I'd say the A-4E/F package will be a must-have for the FSX Nav Air fans.

AN A-4!?!? Are you kidding me? I need to build a hangar expansion! Thank you guys!!! No it is not our work (Milviz), but I am so glad that someone is doing one while we are doing our other projects. Will make a nice bandit for our upcoming fighter.

Can't wait.

Speaking of A-4's, here is some very surreal footage:
