Hudson for Sale !

Well the first 1.8 gig download resulted in a bad zip, something about it being part of a spanned file but the file was 1.8 gig. So trying again... good old Fspilotshop. Don't use them as a rule due to their habit of charging to reactivate older downloads.

Second bad download: ! "d:\Users\R Law\Desktop\FSB-105.zip: Unexpected end of archive"

I'm using Orbit download manager that works fine with those big multi-gig ORBX downloads so I'm at a loss to understand this.

Roger, I used Internet Download Manager with no problem at all. It can be tried for free. Found easily with Google. Hope this helps.

I would happily buy this aircraft but I have a metered internet connection (15gb per month) and
I cannot afford to download 1.8 GB.
I could easily manage the 400-500 MB that the original is, if there was a way?

Regards,
Nick.

As did Roger, I purchased and twice tried to download the 1.8 GB file. But unlike Roger, when I tried a third time the FSPilotshop simply shut me down and asked for $5.00 to reactivate the account. All within one hour.

I have sent in a ticket. But this is a sad business model that FSPilotshop has in place.

*GROAN*

I am having a bad migraine attack, so I wasn't aware of the posts here since yesterday, sorry. Those of you with download problems, please shoot me an email..... not sure why it should be 1,8 Gb ?????????? My files are only 400 and 150 Mb large....

Anyway, have you let Adam Howe of FS Pilot Shop know? I'll shoot him a message too.....

Last but not least: when people have downloadproblems at my OWN shop, I always recommend the www.freedownloadmanager.org. Solves the problems every time.

Please get in touch so I can solve your issues.

Francois

When you have it run in the background, it picks up any download you start through your browser. It can of course do a lot more, but that's the essential part of it, and the easiest way to use it. It will keep track of interruptions itself, and continue the download automatically.
