• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

I can't speak for other FS9 users, but I'm having a bit of trouble. I'm not pointing fingers (there no need to), but these textures don't show up in the preview window before flight. And to add insult to injury, my sim will literally freeze.

A little help, please.:faint:

I loaded all of these in FS9 and only had a problem with the RCAF repaint, OYG. The file and texture sizes are not the same as the other repaints, so for some reason it doesn't work in my setup.

Hey guys, I believe it is because I goofed and saved these textures in DXT5 format, which FS9 doesn't recognize. If you open them in DXTbmp and save them as either DXT3 or 32 bits extended bitmaps, they should work in FS9 as well. Could you see if this works?

I tried to upload an update, but the server went down.
Ickie seems to have the forum back up, but uploading is not possible at the moment. Unfortunately, I'll be travelling next week, so you'll have to try yourself, or be patient....

edit: silly me, there's other ways...currently uploading an update on avsim. Please let me know if this solves the problem.
