I think the BASE jumpers who use specialized flying suits and that Swiss chap who straps that jet-powered delta wing onto his back is closer to actually human flight, IMO; nice video, though...

thanks for the reminder, fortunately i'm not going to use wings made of wax and feathers, and i'll be keeping well away from the sun....

as 'Captain Lockheed and the Starfighters' (Lead singer from Hawkwind) put in their song 'The Gremlin'; "I Focussed the magnifying glass that brought the downfall of Ikaros".... and do not correct the spelling there... THAT is the correct way of spelling it
