That aside, I'll check it out simply because Stefanie Martini is in the cast.

Very loose with the truth!
In fact it is far too 'present day' with language and personal idiosyncrasies, including relationships between service personnel.
The general flight scenes are OK when real aircraft are used but the CGI looks like very early IL2........in a bad way.
And way too many decoration ribbons worn by aircrew given the short time frame.
However, just ignore the failings and enjoy the few real Hurricanes!
And Stefanie Martini is delectable eye candy.
