• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

I always wonder about these infomercial products

i'm usually pretty skeptical, but i have to admit, when i saw the slapchop, i wanted one. i thought "gee, that's so simple, how could it get ****** up?"

When I first saw the Slapchop, it reminded me of the Veg-o-matic slicer/dicer that was sold during the 60's. My mom had one in her top kitchen gadget cabinet for years. I think it was sold by RONCO.
 
My wife has a thing like the Slap Chop...but her's was made by The Pampered Chef...pricey! That thing works like a charm! We use it at least 4 times a week. Don't think the Slap Chop is anywhere near the quality of The Pampered Chef one, but if it is built even halfway decently, it should work okay.

Ahhh! I love Steve Porter! he does alot of songs from commercials. They play an edited version of that remix on TV here as a commercial... I've only seen it late at night though.
 
Nothing can beat the guy who spray painted his bald spot though! You can shower, swim, walk in hurricane winds...last time I looked a can of Rust-o-leum lasts a lot longer! Lol...
