I am back in action

I am applying the "skins" that Captain Kurt provided :applause: and will do some screenshots of each aircraft. I am also finishing the last of three versions of a raid on Pagan (northern Marianas) mission - one for each aircraft type.

Cheers and a Happy New Year to you all!

Progress? I am working on the last of six missions, three each for raids on Pagan and Palau - a SB2C, TBF, AND F6F version for each attack. I'm also doing some recon photos for the missions as well. After these two sets I'm off to Mindanao and the start of the Philippines campaign.

Greetings SW ! Glad you are back and jumping into your happy pursuits :wavey: I just finished reading a book titled " Intrepids Fighting Squadron 18" by a Michael J. Fink. He apparently was a docent, for awhile, at the Intrepid Museum and wrote the book. It follows the path of the FS 18 and its' pilots through the Intrepids deployments. It has a lot in it concerning the makeup of the raids and plane losses as well as some descriptions of the airfields they hit. It and even has the reg. numbers of the planes that were lost and approximately where. Also, the Intrepids Squadrons carried as a identifier on the tail stabilizer a cross at the top. Wasn't aware of that. Interesting book.
Anyway, I am sure you have all this but just thought I would pass this tidbit along to you.

Thanks Fibber!
I need some help. I am currently in the Philippines and am getting object error messages on loading the PI scenery. As one of the authors a few years back of the PI GSL scenery package, I thought I had all the elements. However I cannot find:

lw_barracks_d9
lw_barracks_d7
lw_barracks_d8
lw_causeway_d1
lw_causeway_ramp_d1
lw_hangar_sqr_3a_d1

Does anyone know where the download is, containing these objects?

Hi Greg,

They are in MR Library Objects found in the MaskRider Legacy section.

In case you're not aware, I released scenery for Manila last year. It incorporates MaskRider's airfields.

Cheers,
Kevin

Hi Kevin!
I previously downloaded and unzipped MR Library Objects, but it only had 2 bgls and none of the bitmaps had an lw prefix. As i already had them installed, I can only assume it was the wrong target. I currently have all the MR and LW downloads installed, but I've never seen or heard of an lw_causeway. :dizzy:

Greg, the MR Library Object package was expanded a couple of years ago. There are a few more infrastructure objects as well as a new tree library.

The causeway existed in the original Philippines scenery package as a macro, rather than a GSL object. Converting the Philippines to GSL necessitated the addition of the causeway and a couple of new barracks.
