I cannot find my iPhone....

Waaaah!

The last time, I knew I have it was in the afternoon at about 5:45 pm...
A text message came, but I was driving.
reached my destination, safe.
had dinner, with friends, and furry friends....
reached the hotel safe and sound...
But, I cannot find my iPhone....

Waaah!

Have you tried phoning its' number from another phone ? You may have left it with your friends and some one may hear it and pick it up.

Borrow someones phone and go to your car.
Call your phone .........
That should tell you exactly where it is.

Have the authorities GPS it.

That's one reason I do not have one Chacha, I would lose it.

I do understand that the authorities can track you down with most any phone that has GPS apps and service.

Hope you find it.

I lost my phone one day when I was out in the brush picking berries. Got home and..gone. I took my wifes phone with me and went back to where I was. I called the phone, and found it too. I can only imagine the consequences if it was never found.

Lost items in the wilderness............

Ok.........time for it reminds me of a story.......

I was out in the bush........1 foot of snow.......drifting to about 2 feet

1st mistake.........I was alone

2nd mistake......keeping items in a open pocket

3rd mistake.......trying to walk in snow over 6 inches deep.

Stepped in a hole that was one of praire dog farm that was covered by snow...............tripped

rolled down a hill................pockets of items flying everywhere as I rolled

Lost my keys

Lost my cell phone

Lost my lighter and dry match/striker kit

none of which flew in the rolled snow all went into drifts or virgin snow..........roll path/debris field was about 25 yards.....praire dog holes everywhere

dug holes for about an two hours.

Ok....that doesn't help with a lost cell phone.........

What I have done is...........

1. when you get the upgrade offer..............go get the cheapest or free phone.

2. Keep the cheap phone in a secure location

3. when you loose your good phone....go to the service provider and get a new sim card. Which nullifies the sim card in your lost phone. Which in most case or service providers is free of charge.

4. Put in new sim card cheap phone untill you find your lost one........which I have done now two times. It always seem to show up eventually. If lost of stolen....permanently..........they old sim card is no use.

Note: I find the more you pay for the orignal phone..............the more painful the loss.........I get the least costly phone ........I don't have internet acess......just an basic phone calls..........makes the loss alot less stressful and problematic.

I have lost my mind... long ago, the wife told me not to let it wonder off, it was too little to be out on it's own... I hate it when she is right!

Best of luck finding it Chacha, it sucks when you are travelling and loose your phone.

I thought I was the MOST organized person in the whole earth,
I proved wrong....
Forgot one luggage at home...
(the gift luggage)
I lost my iPhone,

I even forget what day it is...
Dang! All I have in my mind is relaxation...
I need a vacation from my vacation...

I finally found my iPhone...
I found it through mobile me (me.com)
took my iPad at the parking lot,
very cool feature...
the phone started making a very funky weird sound....

There it was, all cold and alone under the passenger seat...
Very hungry (low batt) and had 3 missed calls...
and 15 hundred text messages....

I am glad I found it!

It is just I get too excited and loose my mind sometimes...

Thanks for all your feedback, and advise...

I'm glad you found it Cha Cha. I try to stay organized as otherwise I can't find anything. Every now and then, things go haywire and I just find a thing... :isadizzy:
