It doesn't matter how many times I see videos of Princess Juliana International Airport - I just sit there astonished every time :icon_eek:



 
I want to go to St Maarten/Martin just to sit at the beach at the end of the runway and watch planes fly over my head.
 
I'm surprised they don't have stoplights to hold back the road traffic while jets are coming and going. ( Or do they and everybody ignores them?) Something boxy like a small delivery van could easily be flipped back onto the beach by a heavy like a B.747....
.....wild looking.
