I Finally Did IT!

Woooo Hoooo!

I finally updated my OSX to Snow Leopard....

It took me about 30 minutes to install (it said 58 minutes... but I timed it, it was about 36 min) My highspeed internet is not as fast as everybody else, I have the slowest Brighthouse (Roadrunner) package...

I made sure I backed up all my files, pictures, music, games and everything before the install.... (Fear of the bug that was reported)




I definitely LOST one thing..... my FEAR....




... OK, Let me explore and see what Snow Leopard can deliver!

I havent because I havent backed up my WinXP side yet.

Just remember to never use Visitor option. Just create a 'new' account can call it anything but 'visitor'.


I'm looking forward to hearing your findings on it.

All I can say right now is, It is fast, super fast... I have not explored all the features yet, but I am happy with the way it looks already....

Expose' - on OSX version you click on the sides, on Snow it is on your Dock, (all your open windows displays in an organized grid)

Safari4 is even faster, your favorite website in a glance (i still use Opera)

Universal Access (Voice Over for those who are blind) and Instant braille support ust connect one....

And many many more....

Very people friendly.... (I am super computer challenged and OSX is very friendly, indeed)

If ya get a chance, watch how long it takes to go into sleep mode....I couldn't even say one before it did it....puts windows to shame...Mike

Did I do it right.... i did it like 6 times (timing it with a stop watch)



Sleep mode is 0.05 seconds.... like I am turning on a TV via remote!


To wake up from sleep is 0.05 seconds from the time I click...


Amazes me....
