Hey all,

Rami's got his new laptop up and running...though it's still a work in progress.

I'll now be able to stop in several times a day to check the threads and be around in case y'all need a sticky or to find something.

Just remember...I hid my username so you guys can't tell when I'm online or not. Rami's always watching...hahaha! :icon_eek:
 
Wow, Rami, twice my Dell laptop and half the cost!
Good for you!

If I had it to do over again, my Dell would be a Gateway.

I upgraded it to the full Microsoft Office 2007 (none of that trial stuff) as well as full anti-virus / anti-spyware protection. 3-year warranty.

It's actually far more powerful than my desktop.

I talked the salesman at Best Buy down to $599 by having cash in hand, and if you include the installation, warranty, and software packages (less hassle for me) I was able to get the whole shebang for a smidge under $900.

Not too shabby, eh?
 
Nice machine :woot: Just don't keep an eye on us from the "library" or "throne room" as some would call it.........:toilet: :costumes:
