I have been playing with a Huey.

First repaint packaged and uploaded, the other 19 will follow over the next couple of days. Although these paints will work on either the RNZAF (unarmed) and the US Army (door guns) models, just remmember to switch out the pilot textures as that is the only texure that is unique to each model. The models are available from Hovercontrol.com.

Thank you for the repaints Steve. After all these years I never downloaded Dean's Hueys, finally did today - real gems. Have a few r/w hours in a 205, these FS UH-1's do quite well, especially considering that they were made back in 2004.

Cheers! Mike :salute:

They have always been in my sim since release, one of the first addons i reinstall everytime I redo my flightsim. Yes they are old models but in all these years I have not found any better.

SteveB / Stalin,

You've certainly been keeping me busy...every time I check the library for new stuff to approve, I see more Hueys! But, I haven't seen Dewey and Louie yet...

Great to see a US Navy scheme in the works - enjoying this 82nd Medevac livery ...

Cheers! Mike :salute:

USMC and US Navy schemes have just been uploaded. That just leaves two maybe three left to finish up and upload.

Really liking Baunton's 205 chopper Steveb. I've never had this chopper before. Thanks for opening the thread with your very nice historical paints.

Is cool watching that 205 coming in and those great low level fly-bys as those blades whop! :ernae:

Thanks a lot for these repaints. Together with the Bell_huey_sound_v2 soundpack from Hovercontrol it is a great package. This Huey is so easy to fly compared to most other FS helicopters.

Great work, as always. Thank you! :ernae:

Is that silver & blue Air Ameriica livery still cooking, or did I miss it?

Still working on the Air America scheme. I will have a couple of Naval schemes ready for upload tommorow then its onto finishing the AA scheme.

Steve,

As I was born and have lived all my life very close the the Dutch Naval Air Service airfield MVK Valkenburg, I'm very pleased to see you have done the Dutch repaint.

The unit which flew the AB 204B was stationed at MVK Valkenburg from 1961 until 1973. After which date the unit went to MVK de Kooy. The K on the tail from your repaint shows this helicopter is stationed at the Kooy. And look very much like the 204B in the Military Aviation Museum.

However according to Wilco Jonker the 225 was taken out of service already in April 1969! And has therefore never flown with a K on the tail. So Steve can I please have the 225 with the "V" from Valkenburg on the tail and with the unit marking from VSQ 7 on the door? :d :d :d

Most AB 204Bs ended their operational life already in 1976 and were sold to Sky Controls Inc., Sun Valley, California in May 1978.

Cheers,
Huub
