The Ultimate 10-300 by Simon Smeiman is pretty nice, too, good for some aerobatics, knife edges, rolls etc. and it´s native and free. Would like to see some paints for it maybe, or I need to learn it some day, would like to see my R/C Ultimate in FS...

What is so wrong about the Fokker DR I flight model? I thought it felt pretty much as I expected, quite a lot of engine torque, cyclic forces of the engine, not too bad I thought.
 
Often overlooked: Frank Elton's De Havilland 87b Hornet Moth. I don't think it is native FSX, but it works perfect in FSX.

Speaking of the Neoqb Fokker Dr.1 flight dynamics, it comes as a surprise to me to hear any questioning of the flight dynamics on that aircraft. I have found them to be near to spot on as you are likely to get in FSX. You can just tell by watching Mikael Carlson (one of the greatest stick & rudder pilots in the world) fly his Dr.1, that the flight dynamics on the Neoqb example are just how they should be. It demands constant attention just as the real thing does, and provides all of the same quarks and attributes. It definitely holds a special spot in my FSX hangar - one of my top five most flown aircraft.

For me it has an extrem and untrimmable nosedown attitude to the point that it's unflyable.
It doesn't even want to fly level when I pull the stick all the way back.
And no, it's not a joystick calibration issue if one should think that.
I wonder if my Fokker install files are corrupted by chance.
Will try to get some fresh archives and try again.

I think something must be wrong as for me it flies nose up with full throttle.
 
I find flying the Dr.1 to be challenging, but fun. And as realistic as first hand accounts by both pilots of that era (and contemporary) have indicated.

My only complaint on the FM is the violent swerve evident on take-off and landing. Grossly over-modelled. One just has to watch original period films to see that only the barest amount of rudder is required, and that the Dr.1 tracks straight and true.
