Here is one for all you former and current A&Ps. Tonight I was flying the outstanding FlyLogic F-5E. Five minutes after takeoff the right engine failed. I landed on one engine.

I then checked the Settings and unchecked the engine stress causes damage, thinking that maybe that was my problem. Nothing else looked amiss.

Took off again and the same thing happened.

Switched to the AS F5E. The exact same problem occurred.

Anyone know what is causing one engine #2 to fail in flight? I use twin throttles and each is mapped to one engine through FSUIPC.

I once had that happen to me as well. Turns out some wire was hitting and pressing one the throttle keyboard keys! So I moved the wiring and disabled the keyboard throttle keys.
Also check your plane's failures sttings?

Thanks Tim. I do have a lot of switches in my cockpit. I need to check to see I am not getting spurious inputs.
