i need people to help with my new aircraft design team

am starting a CFS3 aircraft design program and i need people to help out. this is a non profit program an you will not get paid, but you will be helping out the cfs3 community. these are the people that i need: please put your user name under the field that you would be help in:
Aircraft construction: this basically making the overall design of the aircraft you will hand the aircraft off the moving parts engineer:

Aircraft paint schemes: you will make the paint schemes that will be displayed on the aircraft

weapon designers: you will design all of the weapons for the aircraft you will had it off to the painter
moving parts engineer: you make all moving part move so you will make the prop, the flaps gear etc.. move you will had the plane off to the weapo9n designer
testers: you will test the planes if problems are found then had the plane to the problem fixer if no problems occur the hand the plane off to the distributor.
problem fixers: you will fix any problems that the tester find in the plane once you fix the problem send the plane back to the testers.
distributer/ internet engineer: the distributer will distribute throiughouy the internet. theintrnt engineer will create a website for the organazation email me at gutrman64 to get what the site must have.
file creator: you will create the files necessary for the plane to run right in the game

i have decided to call the organization flight Sim aviation or fsa if there are any question feel free to email me at gutrman654@aol.com

I am always willing to help, but I don't think I will be good at anything else other than testing, sorry!

I think you'll find that the people who do this sort of thing all know one another already, and have been working together for years. If you go to the downloads section, or install MAW, ETO, PTO or OFF, you might just notice the result.

Now, instead of trying to take control in this rather kak-handed way, why not try again? Only this time, you might say, "Hello everybody, I'm Siegfried from Halifax, and I do this and that. Is there anything I can do to help with any projects?"

That sort of approach is greatly appreciated.

Looking at the way the production line is established, I am not sure it will work. Weapons are not usually part of the plane unless you are speaking of guns and cannons or turret stations. As Dan said no mention of the vc's so this is missing. Working on the moving parts separately from the main mesh is a not a practical way of dividing the work as animation is fairly easy in cfs3.

If you wish to partner with someone, as it was suggested introduce yourself, share your expertise and what you have made already. Maybe posting a few pics of your work would be a good way of getting folks eager.

Just remember, new blood is always wanted in a sim, especially when a person seems so eager to want to help.

That being said, it would certainly help to know some background information of who you are and what skills / interests you may have, rather then just announcing the need for help.

You will find that many in this forum have skills in design, flight dynamics, and other areas. In this case, introducing yourself and taking time to build up a solid reputation will likely allow you to accomplish your goals.

i hope that this post was a little better once i get more people into the project then we all will work togethre smothing out the esembly line and who does what. so for now please do not critcize how everything is set up i would just like to hear from you if you are interested in helping me out than you and i hope to hear from you.

Before you begin such a task, why don't you have a look around in the download section and see what others have done first? You'll find that most aircraft that you seek to make might be covered already.

Take the time to scroll through threads and posts to determine who the "experten" are. Build up a rapport with other forum members.

Have you ever heard of AvHistory, for example?

Instead of trying to blaze a fire trail through CFS3, take a moment to learn what others have done!

I know you're young and full of ambition, but you might want to reign it in just a bit.

imho there is a dedicated team in place and likely other than an act of god , youll never see the likes of some these makers, developers etc,,,,,they have been at it for years and there end result

speaks volumes .. i suggest ,,if your a eager beaver, the best i see ,is try , for a work out with the eto team etc..... see where they think your strengths and weakiness are and if there willingly to slowly work with yee ...again im not on the team, i fly what they do .....i am close with a few

Brandon, that rather says it all. VC = Virtual Cockpit which is what you see when flying a model in the sim, rather than looking at it from one of the external views. If you had half an idea how much work is involved in building a working model and getting it working in CFS3, you'd also understand the underwhelming response to your posts so far.

Could I suggest you find out more about CFS3 modelling first and have a go at it yourself. The modellers here have been at it for years and know all too well how easy it isn't. You might start by downloading the SDK from Microsoft's CFS3 site.

It would be nice to have another GMAX modeller around, I admit - the advice given above is good, and I would follow it. If you do have skills that are of use, we'd be happy to have you join the crew...
