What line in the air file allows for 2 drop tanks? Also, is there any documentation on what controles what in the air file? This would be a great help f someone hasn't already done a "How to..".

Drop tanks ... 534 and 535 (see F4F4_Wildcat stocker). Can't help with the rest of your question ... sorry!:isadizzy:
 
WRT "how to's", my 7 year collection of notes and tips is the best i can personally do. There are yet quite a number of knowledge gaps in this collection, most of which i've managed to fill intuitively and with information found at related websites and forums like ours here. But if you can put this collection together mentally, you'll eventually have a 90% completed picture in the workings of air files and flight dynamics in MS flight sims. I'll leave it to others to compile it into a single "hardcopy" work.
