• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

'I Wish 2 Months Ago, I'd Know This Was Going To Be Released In August'

Waiting for the new Pentax to come out .... built in HDR, HiDef video, and I can use my old lenses also!

I've been eyeballing that one too Bob. I'll probably wind up going K200D or K2000 to replace my DL pretty soon (it's starting to get some growling in the AF motor). I like the size of the DL...I think that the 20D and that new K7 thing is kinda big & heavy for a "walking camera".

Nikon has got some nice stuff out and upcoming...but I'm in the same boat as Bob. Got all this nice old Pentax glass that I just hate to part with. :)
 
I had an origional Nikon FTN. When they came out with the new model (F-1 I believe), my old glass didn't work anymore without an expensive mod. So..I sold them all and bought a Pentax
 
I don't think the camera is expensive....it's the different add-on lens, filters and other accessories that add up more than the camera itself cost :wavey:...lol

Exactly,Moe....I've just bought a Nikon 80-200mm f2.8 lens for my camera last week. My photography habit is fast becoming just as expensive as my computer habit :isadizzy::kilroy: :).
