you don't HAVE to buy it.

the Gladiator is an icarus product developed by icarus so he/they can pretty much do what he/they want to with it.

a paint kit either will or wont be made available for it at some point.

this developer has shown time and again a willingness to work WITH his customers...even on a one to one basis...to fix factually supportable errors in any and every aspect of the models thay make, given that it is practical to do so.

Support like this is rare so let's not denegrate one of the most helpful developers I've seen. With what Icarus has coming in the future we'll have some aircraft off the main stream that I never thought we'd see in FsX.

agreed here too, I didn't mean offence, I love the Gladiator and fly it a lot.
I was just a bit disappointed, as I like to paint aircraft (you may have noticed this). Won't stop me from flying it, and it won't stop me from buying the Lysander either (for which I'll be saving my money).

jankees, if you send me a pm with your email address i will send you some skins without markings...i think you can made more skins with them, also if is not a paint kit. Many more skins will be used on future fot the ski, that should be out next month and seagladiator a little bit later. Next Model will be De havilland Dragon Rapide civil and military with bombs version.
 
Will the Ski and Sea models be separate chargeable packages as well? It's your prerogative Icarus - I haven't even got the main package yet as I've been hanging on and hanging on - I'm just asking :hand:
 
Hi icarus,

I just bought the Gloster Gladiator and first off fantastic aircraft and i don't know how you do it but my FPS in FSX have gone from 12 - 21 fps in cockpit of any payware or default aircraft (i have over 50 payware various types) to a whopping 45-60 FPS in the cockpit ... my jaw literally hit the floor and you now have a dedicated fan and loyal customer if all your planes can do that (by the way i hit 117 FPS in fly-by view yesterday in a storm :rapture:.

Now to my problem it seems my fuel gauge is not working it is always showing empty in the cockpit i ahve attached a pic of what i mean, i have FSX Deluxe with ACCELERATION, DirectX10 Preview is turned off and all my other aircraft their fuel gauges work correctly ie:they go down over time while flying where as my Gloster Gladiator is stuck on zero permantly.

Can you please look at the pic below and see if you can work out what is wrong?

yes all our planes can do it,they are builded all in the same way, fsx native sdk (for this reason they works with fsx-sp1-sp2 acceleration without we had to make particulary arranjements) and good fps.

Good FPS you guys are being modest, there is no aeroplane with your aeroplanes performance it is astounding. Job well done guys.

By the way you have any ideas on how to get the fuel gauge working? Or still looking into it?
