• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Icarusgold gloster Gladiator

Anyone out there know if Icarusgold is still up for business? It looks like they still offer their version of the gloster gladiator for ~$21 but not
sure if there here is up for business. I'd hate to pony up the money and then experience a sorry that site is inop and no download link.

I viewed a rather old youtube review and the reviewer didn't sound too please with it.


I would of preferred this version instead.
 
We had major issues with that company here at SOH years ago over his payware version of the Grumman J2F Duck. It got very ugly for a while with threats of piracy and copyright breach claims regarding freeware Duck's hosted here and elsewhere that were totally unfounded and dis-proven without any doubts (I still have the model comparisons and mesh screenshots on my HD). It is best forgotten along with Icarusgold IMHO!

That doesn't even reach the ankles of François' model honestly.

And the guy behind Icarusgold is a lunatic.
 
I have it and honestly Dave Molyneaux's version (P3D conversion available in the library) or the FSAddon version (was released as freeware but I'm not sure where to find it) are better and cheaper.
