DEPENDS ON THE RIVETS...IF I RECEIVE SAME TREATMENT ON POLEMICS WITH THE GRUMMAN I PREFER START TO PLAY WITH LEGO, GET TIRED OF THE SAME GROUP WITH USUAL STUPID ATTACKS...I M REALLY THINKING PLAYING WITH LEGO OR PLAYMOBIL IS BETTER THAN BUILD AIRCRAFT.

i m sure if i will start with p38 or fiesler then there will be someone say that the ozono's hole is caused by Grumman rivets or one of the next aircraft i am building.

IT'S EASIER OPEN MOUTH THAN BUILD AIRCRAFTS.

Hmmm... not sure what your expectations are when you position your products here on SOH, so before getting frustrated with us here is something you might want to consider: SOH is a non commercial forum, server costs are not paid from advertizing but by the SOH charter members themselves. Of course I for one welcome commercial parties to use SOH as a platform to broadcast their payware, but do not get upset in case you are receiving some criticism.

Look on it from the bright side, many of the people on SOH have seen enough FS freeware and payware to be able to judge what is good and what is not good enough yet. Instead of getting tired with criticism you might want to try to use it to your advantage. Successful companies do listen to what their market is saying, if that is too much for you maybe it is time to leave this business and start doing freeware (or play with LEGO).

Icarus, so you're doing the P-38F as well, I take it? Awesome! I love the earlier models with the sleeker radiators. Like others, I was curious as to why you'd do the P-38J when there are already two good commercial P-38 packages for FSX, but it sounds like you're doing a wider range of models than existing packages. Nice! But don't take the question about "why another P-38J?" as a criticism, please. I'm sure folks were just curious! If someone chooses to enter a market with similar products already available, they generally have something unique in mind, and that's all people are wondering about.

You just have to ignore the rivet counters. They're a plague on the hobby; just keep in mind for every jerk who flexes his e-peen in a forum, there are dozens of silent customers quietly sitting back and reading the topic and looking forward to your next plane! You can't let forum posters frustrate you. If people took forum rants seriously, there would be no software industry. Or movie industry. Or TV industry. Or book publishing industry. Because everyone who's created anything would get frustrated and do something else. ;)

Whitney17, they manufactured dive brakes to retrofit to the P-38Js in the field in Europe. Unfortunately, the C-54 carrying them was shot down mistakenly by an RAF pilot so they were never retrofitted. :(

Late model J's did have the dive flaps. The J-25 was (I think) the first to have them. Unless I'm wrong about that. Wouldn't be the first time... :)

Successful companies do listen to what their market is saying, if that is too much for you maybe it is time to leave this business and start doing freeware (or play with LEGO).

ok for lego then freeware fpr rivets counters? NEVER. LEAVING HERE BYEBYE i have nothing against this forum...i don't like criticism from people do not have the product and didn't try it that's all.

i back to work on my aircraft..but no more preview images or something else here...i leave you all the rivets counter.
 
Mate I really love the P38 but we already have so many nice models of it, if you really want a winner make this version too IMHO!

That second one is a Twin Mustang I believe, and not the P-38. I've always thought the 38 was a beautiful plane where as the Twin Mustang was hideous..... :icon_lol:
