Is In Defense of Australia by Jorge Alsina and Joe Amodea still popular for CFS2 flyers. I was going thru some old backup CDs and came across my downloaded copy and was wondering if was worth installing again.

Waco,

You may install it. However, I will be thoroughly updating that campaign with new aircraft, as well as Pen32Win's airbases which will now replace the originals. That campaign, in short, is about to get a new lease on life. :friday:

Sounds great and thanx for the update. I had IDoA on an old computer that's been gone for a few years. I'll be waiting anxiously. Pacific air battles in WW2 have always interested me since I grew up as a kid on the west coast during WW2.

It is one of my all time favorites & I often fly my heavily tweaked version. I'm anxiously anticipating Rami's redo.

BTW Rami, that Jap recon plane in the first mission was apparently a K-21 Sally. I seriously wish that someone would multi-res Payakan's Sallys as well as most of his otherwise excellent creations.

On my machine Bruno's & Payakan's versions are about sixes. Both are useable but do slow things down a tad.

So, oldwheat, what kind of tweaking did IDoA get and should I maybe wait for Rami's updated version?

Mostly I just replaced the aircraft with newer versions. I would hold out for Rami's remake, I know that I am.

OK, oldwheat, I'll take your advice and wait. I've got more than enuf flight sims on my computers to fly around in and not feel deprived.

I need to finish up Tuskegee Airmen first. Then DoA will be my next project.
