IFLOLS and FCLP !

Hmmm. Well, contrary to popular belief, some SCASM objects work in FSX with SP-2/Acceleration. If any of you have my NAS Oceana (KNTU) for FSX scenery, the IFLOLS work. Now they don't have a cool trailer, but they're functional. Since Rich Hogen rebuilt his Arrestor Cables program for FSX, I now have traps set up for the FCLP areas.

The KNTU IFLOLS were made by Marcel Ritzema. If anyone is interested in testing the setup out, let me know.

Available!!

Hello!
The FLOLS trailer is now available on Avsim (flols_trailer.zip).
Sorry for the delay but I hope you'll enjoy it!!
By the the way, thank you for your help and feedback :ernae:

And once again, if any java developer comes around here, I've got a "small customisation" to code :whistle:

Regards
Sylvain

Thank you.

Just did my first landing using your FLOLS trailer.
I had a little trouble picking up the lights but that will improve with practice.

I am stumped here. I installed this program in my new FSX install, per instructions. Modified the AICarrier.cfg file with the additions. But nothing for FCLP is showing up on the menu.

Cannot find the reason why.

Have you really added this to your aicarriers.cfg:

[formation.XX]
title=FLOLS Trailer
unit.0=FLOLS_Trailer, 0, 130

[formation.XX]
title=FLOLS Trailer w Arresting Gear
unit.0=FLOLS_Trailer, 0, 80
unit.1=ArrestingGear, 0, 130

[formation.XX]
title=KNPA 7R-25L (dual FLOLS w wires)
unit.0=FLOLS_Trailer, 0, 80
unit.1=ArrestingGear, 0, 130
unit.2=FLOLS_Trailer_rev, 27, 1967
unit.3=ArrestingGear_rev, 27, 1917

[formation.XX]
title=KNPA 01-19 (dual FLOLS w wires)
unit.0=FLOLS_Trailer, 0, 80
unit.1=ArrestingGear, 0, 130
unit.2=FLOLS_Trailer_rev, 27, 1767
unit.3=ArrestingGear_rev, 27, 1717

and are the numbers (red XX) in the correct order?

Hello,
If no FLCP item is showing up on the AI Carrier menu, it's certainly due to a problem with your configuration file.

Please try this way:
- Create a text file with notepad (for example)
- copy-paste the entries given by Nils with number from 0 to 4
- save the file as FLCP.cfg (for example)
- put this conf file into Conf.id folder, which is in your AICarrier folder

Then, the trailers should show up, certainly at the end of the list : you will have to go through several pages to find them.

Tell me if it's OK.
Sylvain

Will do, Sylvain. Thanks!!

I downloaded this file, but there's a lot to do to get it working (at least I thought). Anyway, it's nice, something close to our BAK 14 cables at my local airport (used for emergency's with the air force guys), we have one at each end of the runway, but it's only a single arresting cable across the runway.

Can you have only one cable show up instead of 4?

I found the problem. When I copied/pasted the new entries to the AICarrier.cfg file, I had omitted one bracket. That was all it took to mess things up.

But all is working great now!

Thanks all!
