Hey guys, we lost power a couple of days ago, and I'm still trying to get back on line. I am at the shop now. I have not been ignoring skypes and email, just can't get to them. The wife was "fixing" it while I was outside, so heck knows how long it will take to straighten out. There are not enough curse words to express my rage. See ya soon, I hope.:salute::ernae:
 
We got the power back. I think there's a problem with the router. One machine is online, the one I use is messed up. I will see if I can get it working this afternoon. Jeez, a fella is lost without the internet. I just have to figure out what the "expert" did to it.:salute:
 
I hope you get it back up to normal MR. I heard you all took a pounding up there, we caught the edge of it with another 3 inches of global warming with ice.

I thought that was what happened, Sarg. I have no idea why a power outage would affect the internet connection. I bought a new router, hooked it up and all is fine. There are a few things I cannot figure out yet; like why AOL is back on pc and how wife got 3 broadband connections on it. Just found out that there is a modem that seems to act as modem/router. I shoulda got that. If you have ever done the Canada-India shuffle, you know have easy it is to go off the deep end. Each said it was the other's problem. Went through the set up 4 times with each party. Finally put the shotgun back under the bed. Thankfully, never shot pc, telephone or anyone, I mean, anything else. :icon_lol::ernae:
