Ya guys, it's embarrasing, I forgot all and everything!
Just fired up CFS3 again after what feels like decades and get a totally useless aircraft texture resolution.
I've set Composite Aircraft Texture Max Dimension to 2048 but no go, still everything pixelated.
Now were is the stupid idiots guide to crisp CFS3 settings?
Thanks in advance for your pointers, gents!

Hey

I think over at regshanger you'll find the old ground crew settings guide. If you can't send me a pm and I'll email you the file.

Like Ted says. You've been too long on the Dark Side, Mathias!

You have set the screen resolution to something useful, btw??

Thanks guys, figured it out.
For some reason, when running CFS3config it set my graphics drivers mip map detail to lowest settings, for whatever reason.
CFS3config settings were fine, but I had to run the driver config three times until the high settings finally stuck.

Pat, for good ole time's sake.
Felt a strong need to down some Hurricanes with my Me110. :icon_twi:

...I also get odd and unwanted mipmap occurrences, -wish I could wrap me head around it a bit better :isadizzy:

...BTW, is there a good tutorial on mipmaps (quick fixes always welcome -lol)

I hope that you enjoy this as much as I do..
Welcome back to the fun side of flying..
I wreck things here often in CFS3, enjoy wrecking stuff..:gameoff:
