Been away for a while but I can see a lot of good stuff here lately, nice
I am slowly (very...) working on different missions for the IJN/IJA for late war Japan and some Luftwaffe missions too, been collecting pictures/artworks/etc here and there, played with some DP files, also realized that some of Akemi's default panels caused CTDs on my end but thanks for the hints in this thread I could fix those https://sim-outhouse.org/sohforums/threads/ctds-with-installed-planes.165294 (the render_3d_window=1 thing).
I have changed the UIRES for my ETO install with some sets by Captain Kurt but realized I never did it for my PTO one. I picked the US NAVY in COLOR UIRES set by Captain Kurt and again it looks fantastic. But as I am mostly flying on the japanese side I wished I could have something similar for the IJN/IJA. I was thinking of creating (says the guy with zero skills in art department, never even touched photoshop or a similar program
) a similar set for each air service and was wondering if there are some generic/template of the UIRES files, like just the text and add your pictures/photos here and there? Or maybe I'll try to just modify the default ones.
Anyway CFS2 is still fun, even after all those years and that's cool
