Here in Phoenix, they have a little restaurant in town square in the heart of Phoenix called Toms Tavern. All the big wigs in Phoenix can be found occasionally having lunch there. They have the worlds BEST pestrami sandwhich. Goodness.....

Bill~ It's darn good! There's just something about the mix of coleslaw, fries, beef, tomatoes, etc. that makes it stand out.

Its signature items are its sandwiches, which consists of grilled meat, a vinegar-based cole slaw, tomato slices, and French fries between two pieces of Italian bread.<SUP class=reference id=cite_ref-0>[1]</SUP>
 
They do that -- put slaw on the sandwich -- down South a lot --
espcially on pulled pork --
never was too found of it --
it belongs on the side.
