• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

SOH-CM-2024
Looks like I'm going to let my Photobucket account terminate.

I keep encountering a technical issue with their site that I've reported numerous times, and they have yet responded or fixed the problem.

Sooooo... I'm open for suggestions on another image host for my screenshots.

I don't mind an annual fee as long as it isn't too big.

Thanks in advance.

I use www.imgur.com it's the primary image host for reddit. You can upload anonymously if you want to and just link to an image or album or you can create an account and keep hold of stuff.

Question for all.

How are these sites for privacy? I don't care to share my photos publicly but only for certain audiences like SOH. How does that work? Or maybe its not an issue?

imgur does public, hidden and private for albums that are from a member account. Public is anyone can go to your page and view it. Hidden is anyone with the url, which is randomly generated can view it. Private is only you can view it. I think the same applies to individual images.

I use my drop box for that. Very easy to use (plugs into the file explorer), and I have all my external data storage in one place.

Testing

Okay, I signed up with ImageShack. Lets see how it works.
