Images in Aircraft menu

When I load up FSX the aircraft menu displays the wrong images for particular aircraft. What's happening and what is the cure:wavey:?

Have you loaded any port-overs? Sometimes FSX doesn't put in the generic/blank thumbnail, therefore offsetting the other thumbnails. For example, if you add a port-over with three texture sets and a generic/blank thumbnail isn't generated for each set, your other planes will be offset by three positions.

Correctomundo Bone. All you need to do is take a shot of each of the aircraft that are lacking thumbnails in the aircraft menu, crop them similar to the ones you already see there and place the corresponding shot (named "thumbnail.jpg") in each of the texture folders and your menu will be back in shape.

Thanks BONE and falcon409 I've done as you suggest, all is now well. By the by it was a port over that caused the problem:applause::icon29:

Sounds like you've got it sorted but another possible cause for others to consider is that there is an optional line in each "[fltsim.xx]" section of the "aircraft.cfg" file that reads "ui_thumbnailfile=filename.jpg". That typically points to a numbered image in the main folder of that aircraft rather than in the individual texture folder. So you can change the thumbnail image in the texture folder all day long but if that line is present it may be looking elsewhere.
