In FS9 what came first, the chicken or the Easter egg ?

This was probably discussed years ago but it obviously passed me by.... the many giant chickens in the Seattle area of FS9 (default scenery).
Are they a feature of the real landscape or just a whim of a scenery designer ?

Aren't they signs for fast food restaurants? Scattered all over though, not just in Seattle.

That's what I thought...though it's been a loooong time since I've flown in FS9.

Yep..those are signs for Chicken Shacks....places that sell Fried Chicken....KFC if you will. Like the McDonald's Golden Arches...but without astronomically high licensing fees. I think I modified my default.xlm (in the AUTOGEN folder) to remove all fast food joints when I removed all those icebergs that kept popping up in odd places.....like in the middle of Germany and France for instance.

Silver Wings will remove them and the BBQ joints along with the convenience stores. One reason I used SW as a starting point for FS 1954.
