I bring you photos, from MAAM's 2009 WWII Weekend, of the only flying SB2C Curtiss-Wright HELLDIVER in the world today. 2 others exist that are not flying.... 1 is in Greese, and 1 is in Thialand.
 
Thanks Gary for posting those pictures. And thanks to Helldiver and others like him who gave their youth, and some their all defending our liberties.

I really should have posted here last week as to who was going to the MAAM weekend. I was there and earned a realllly bad sun burn. But well worth it seeing the Helldiver flying. That and the Spitfire was what I had went for.

Gotta say to it was pretty cool browsing around by the hanger where they had the USO show going on and the old radio show being done live and hearing the Yankee lady flying in and out during the day. Also meeting Bud Anderson was a treat.
 
Shylock, hope you got to see a couple of friends of mine too, Abbott and Costello.

I was even used as a reference for 3rd base in their show..... I Don't Know. LOL
