i wanted to post this picture of this plane that was at the EAA west coast fly-in...looked pretty pecular to me
 
Thanks for sharing this Daveroo . A PT-23 ? I'm not so sure that I've even ran across that one leafing through aviation books . I'm going to have to Google or Wiki this one just to satisfy my curiosity .

Radial engine version of the Fairchild PT series. At first I thought it was an engine replacement. I like the standard version better, the round engine kinda ruins the aesthetics of the plane.
 
It does rather give an impressions like an old economy class go to work car doesnt it??
I think I would have prefered a V or Inline engine myself on it..
